Alcohol-Free
Alcohol-free beverages are drinks that contain no alcohol, mimicking the taste and experience of traditional alcoholic beverages.
Amanita Muscaria
Amanita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric or fly amanita, is a species of mushroom in the Amanita genus. It is known for its distinctive appearance, featuring a bright red or orange cap covered with white or yellowish warts, and its association with folklore and cultural symbolism.
CBC
CBC is a nonpsychotropic phytocannabinoid shown to be a potent TRPA1 agonist and to have antiinflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
CBCa
Cannabichromenic acid (CBCa) is a precursor of CBC biosynthesis, a non-psychoactive cannabinoid of Cannabis that reportedly exerts anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and analgesic activity.
CBCv
CBCv is a homolog of cannabichromene (CBC) with a shorter side chain. It is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in certain cannabis strains.
CBD
A type of cannabinoid, also called cannabidiol that comes from the hemp (Cannabis sativa) plant. CBD contains very low levels of delta-9-THC (the main chemical that causes the “high” of marijuana). One specific form has been approved in the United States as a drug to treat seizures in certain people. CBD is also being studied in the treatment of symptoms or side effects caused by cancer and cancer treatment.
CBDL
A type of chemical in cannabis that causes drug-like effects all through the body, including the central nervous system and the immune system. The main active cannabinoid in cannabis is delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
CBDa
Cannabidiolic acid (CBDa), is a cannabinoid produced in cannabis plants. It is most abundant in the glandular trichomes on the female seedless flowers or more accurately infructescence often colloquially referred to as buds or flowers. It is the unactivated precursor to CBD, straight from the plant.
CBDv
Cannabidivarin (CBDv) is a chemical in the Cannabis sativa plant. It is similar to cannabidiol (CBD). Like CBD, cannabidivarin does not affect thinking.
CBE
CBE (Cannabielsoin) is a lesser-known cannabinoid derived from the degradation of CBD (cannabidiol).
CBG
Cannabigerol (CBG) is a cannabinoid compound found in the cannabis plant, with the chemical formula C21H32O2. It is the decarboxylated form of cannabigerolic acid, which is the parent molecule used to synthesize other cannabinoids. CBG is usually a minor component of cannabis.
CBGM
CBGM (Cannabigerol Monomethyl Ether) is a minor cannabinoid and a derivative of CBG (cannabigerol). It is found in trace amounts in cannabis plants.
CBGa
Cannabigerolic Acid (CBGa) is the precursor for various cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, including CBDa, THCa, and CBCa, formed through enzymatic reactions.
CBGv
Cannabigerovarin (CBGv) is a cannabinoid that naturally occurs in certain phenotypes of hemp and cannabis. Via enzymatic processes that occur either during the natural maturation of cannabis or in a laboratory environment, the precursor of CBGv, CBGVa, transforms into CBDv, THCv, CBGv, or most other cannabinoids in the “varin” subcategory.
CBL
CBL (Cannabicyclol) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that forms when CBC (cannabichromene) is exposed to light. It is not commonly found in fresh cannabis but can be present in older cannabis products.
CBN
A cannabinoid isolated from the plant Cannabis that is a metabolite of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), with potential immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory activities. Cannabinol exerts minimal affinity for CB1 and has a weak effect on the central nervous system.
CBT
CBT, or cannabicitran, is a minor cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It is one of over 100 cannabinoids identified in cannabis but is present in much lower concentrations compared to more well-known cannabinoids like THC and CBD.
CBV
CBV (Cannabivarin) is a cannabinoid with a structure similar to THCv (tetrahydrocannabivarin), but with different properties. It is found in trace amounts in certain cannabis strains.
Cannabis
Cannabis is a plant of the Cannabaceae family and contains more than eighty biologically active chemical compounds. The most commonly known compounds are delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).
Chaga
Chaga mushroom, scientifically known as Inonotus obliquus, is a type of fungus that grows primarily on birch trees in cold climates, such as those found in Siberia, Russia, Canada, and parts of the United States. It is also commonly referred to as "black gold" or "the king of mushrooms."
Cordyceps
Cordyceps is a genus of fungi that includes several species of parasitic fungi. One of the most well-known species is Cordyceps sinensis, also known as Caterpillar fungus or Yarsagumba. It is commonly referred to as a mushroom, although it technically belongs to the Ascomycota phylum.
Hemp
At the federal level, the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, Pub. L. 115-334, (the 2018 Farm Bill) was signed into law on Dec. 20, 2018. Among other things, this new law changes certain federal authorities relating to the production and marketing of hemp, defined as "the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.
Lion's Mane
Lion's Mane mushroom, scientifically known as Hericium erinaceus, is a type of edible and medicinal fungus belonging to the Hericium genus. It is also known by various other names, including Hedgehog mushroom, Bearded tooth mushroom, and Satyr's beard.
Maitake
Maitake mushroom, scientifically known as Grifola frondosa, is a type of edible and medicinal fungus belonging to the Meripilaceae family. It is also known by various other names, including Hen of the Woods, Ram's Head, and Dancing Mushroom.
Reishi
Reishi mushroom, scientifically known as Ganoderma lucidum, is a type of edible and medicinal fungus belonging to the Ganodermataceae family. It is also known by various other names, including Lingzhi in China, Yeongji in Korea, and Mannentake in Japan.
THC
Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (also known as THC) is a medicinal compound utilized to manage and treat chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting and stimulate appetite. Naturally occurring THC is the principal psychoactive compound and 1 of the 113 cannabinoids identified within the class of cannabinoid medications.
THC-C8
THC-C8 is a synthetic cannabinoid with unique properties, offering an alternative to traditional THC.
THC-Free
In the cannabis industry, products labeled THC-free means there are no detectable levels of ∆9THC. THC-free means trace amounts less than 0.01% or 100ppm.
THCVa
THCVa (Tetrahydrocannabivarinic Acid) is the carboxyl acid parent of THCV, the differently-acting side-chain homolog of THC. Unlike THC, decarboxylated THCV does not get its user high and may even surpress appetites.
THCa
THCa is the non-psychoactive precursor to THC.
